Our team of 6 designers consists of previous builders, contractors, craftsmen, cabinet installers and interior designers with over 168 years of industry experience. Our mission is to build honest and reliable relationships with our community, the industry, and our clients. As a team, we strive to do this by making the process of both building and remodeling enjoyable by providing quality work, cost effective solutions and custom designs to meet each clients’ specific needs and wishes.

Shay Picard has been an integral part of the building industry since 1993. He began his career building houses with his dad at an early age, eventually breaking out on his own. Prior to owning Kitchens Plus he built over 200 homes in the Billings community. When he heard of the opportunity to own Kitchens Plus, a reputable business in the Billings community since 1989, it was the people working here that made his decision easy. Shays’ experience and industry knowledge both in the day-to-day aspects of construction and the overseeing of scheduling and subcontractors in the building process brings a unique opportunity for him as a leader of our dynamic team and owner of Kitchens Plus. Shay has his hands in nearly every aspect of the business seamlessly switching hats from designer, often working with fellow builders, to overseeing the warehouse and installation process, to casting vision for the future. He isn’t afraid to dream big and invest in the people that made his decision to purchase Kitchens Plus so easy. Since purchasing Kitchens Plus, the company has performed at levels never seen before. As a team we look forward to our future here that is as inspiring as the past.
Shay is heavily involved in the Home Builders Association in Billings and sees the value of maintaining industry relationships both in and outside of work, hosting HBA socials and participating in extra events like the Parade of Homes and Home Shows. He also supports the Billings Outlaws which stems from a previous career in college football. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending time with his family.
Sheri Bond has 29 years of kitchen and bath design experience, 17 years with Kitchens Plus. She has a gift of developing special relationships with her clients where they feel heard and get exactly what they are looking for. She often hears from her clients years later about how much they love their kitchen and enjoyed working together. Sheri is passionate about design, nature and spending time with her grandkids.
Ryan Hart has 28 years of industry experience as a business owner both building cabinets, fabricating countertops and installing cabinets on high end projects as well as designing. Because of this he has a great overall understanding of the process from start to finish. Ryan has the gift of both listening and telling stories. His favorite part of the job is working with people, from the people he works with to the relationships with his clients. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his amazing wife and their 4 kids doing anything outdoors from golfing to rafting.
Kady Hardt first discovered her love for interior design at the Career Center and as an intern for Kitchens Plus. She has become a valuable asset to the company having a good understanding of virtually every project going on, keeping our showroom current, helping clients make selections and so much more in her 4 years with the company. If you call with a question, Kady is your girl. Kady loves her chickens, goats, dog, and flower garden as well as baking and all things festive and cozy.
Jodi Hutchinson has 31 years of industry experience, 20 as a designer at Kitchens Plus. She has many great long-term relationships with local builders as well as previous clients. Jodi has many repeat customers and referrals. In her spare time, Jodi enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family.
Krystle Henry has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design along with 15 years of industry experience in cabinet design, remodeling and interior design. She is passionate about coming up with creative solutions that are functional, affordable and specific to the client’s style. She enjoys a good book and spending time with her kids and husband camping and traveling.
Teresa has been serving Kitchens Plus in accounting, human resources and much more for 18 years. As she puts it, “she is the one who keeps the lights on.” And truthfully, we would be in the dark without her. When she isn’t working, she enjoys the outdoors camping and hiking.
Ty is our shop foreman. If our designers have an idea, Ty can make it happen. From painting to building, his eye for detail and desire for perfection allows us to give our clients a custom experience at any price point. As serious as he is about his work, he loves to play a joke on his coworkers.
